A good quality pair of hair shears is what makes any haircut look great. Many of us like to change our look from time to time, from short hair to a Mohawk, from a Mullet cut to long hair, etc. To achieve any of these hairstyles, proper haircutting is necessary and that can be only achieved with the help of professional hair shears.

Hair scissors are professional haircutting shears which help in cutting hair smoothly and achieving any desired style. Whether you are a professional hairstylist or enjoy cutting hair at home, you’ll need effective barbering tools. Some people have fragile hair and selecting wrong hair shears can do more harm than help. Therefore it is very essential to use good quality haircutting tools.

There are different types of haircutting scissors like Kasho Scissors, Yoko Scissors, Thinning Shears, Pink Scissors, etc. To choose the best hair shear for your haircut, you should analyze your needs. If you want to go from long hair to a short hairstyle, you need a scissor which is sharp and Yoko Scissors can do the job for you. If you wish to remove bulk from your hair, you should opt for chunking shears.

While choosing hairdressing scissors, quality is an important factor. Always make sure that you buy only good quality hair scissors. The ones that are made from premium quality of steel are highly durable and comfortable.

Locals describe her this way: Big smile. Big hair. Big heart.

And she’s got the larger-than-life presence to prove it. PA stylist, Renee DePaul opened her own salon, as a fulfillment of a promise she made to herself 20 years ago. A salon that she says reflects her personality.

DePaul’s mom Barbara and grandmom Ruth are keeping the business all in the family, as receptionist and shampoo girl, respectively. And it goes beyond that – the entire staff is related to her in some way.

From her salon – outfitted with antiques, ecclectic pieces, toshiba scissors, and other styling tools of course- she explains how she’s grown her client base:”Most of my clients have been with me since I graduated from Five Star Beauty Academy.” And her strategy is that she wants each client to feel as if they’re her only appointment that day, she said.

Now she has a proper venue, DePaul is eagerly showing support for her favorite charity, Hope Cuts, by picking a few days and donating every cent of her proceeds to benefit the organization that helps people with life-threatening illnesses.

People frequently donate their hair to charity – usually for wig-making for people who have lost their hair due to an illness. This is a great thing to do, but one seven-year-old girl in Canada went one step further.

She and her mom submitted their waist-length hair to toshiba scissors, as part of a donation to cancer patients. Additionally, the little girl – Oceanlilli – gave up her life savings to further help kids in need. She donated her “piggy” bank – a real-sized fire hydrant shaped bank to the Credit Valley Hospital Foundation for its cancer center.

“This is my piggy bank, and it’s pretty full,” she said. She and her mom received support from two dozen friends and family members who turned out to witness her hair-cut. Members of her mini-fan club also made donations in return for a turn with the hair scissors.

Oceanlili has been begging her parents to let her donate her hair since she turned four. Finally on her seventh birthday, they finally agreed.

“I’m very proud of her,” said her father Peter. “We support a lot of charity and (OceanLili’s) been talking about this for three years.”

What a way to ring in a new (birthday) year!
